Gorgeous, super sleek and low profile lighter. It’s a beautiful design, but it broke and stopped heating in less than 8 months of use. Tried to fix it but the coils seem to have burnt out. Super super bummer. Received loads of compliments and just a stellar product, especially for lighting hand rolled ciggies.

I liked the idea of this windproof lighter. The coil isn’t like the car lighter other than it heats up a coil. It is a single flat coil that cools down in the wind making the wind proof function not as good as you would think. The hole is too small to accommodate a cone without rotating it around to light each side. The coil will get a little clogged with burn residue as you attempt to use it. This doesn’t render it useless, but you may have to let it cool down in order to clean it off for reuse.
It does work with some effort. And it may be a little more useful in the wind than some other lighters. So I gave it 3 stars.
In my opinion there are better windproof options.
Right out of the box, the lighter is demonstrably sleek and eye-catching. I haven’t used it, however, since it is an x-mas gift (I am an early x-mas shopper—very early!)
Slider is smooth. Slider is compact and light making it an easy carry in the pants pocket. You don’t even know it’s there. Slider is stealthy. No flame can be seen through the darkness of night. Riding on wings of fire, nothing could get me higher. Rock on Tetra Slider. That is all, except I want to thank Monica for contacting me and showing me the way to slide. So, thank you, Monica!
